ULTRA™ Acoustic Fire Mastic is designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke and gases through openings in fire rated walls and floors, specifically linear joints and openings for building service penetrations. ULTRA™ Acoustic Fire Mastic is available in 310ml plastic cartridges.

ULTRA™ Acoustic Fire Mastic is a 4 hour rated intumescent sealant
formulated with fillers that provide noise reduction. ULTRA™ Acoustic Fire Mastic cures when it is subjected to atmospheric conditions, however it will retain a degree of elasticity for joint movement. Under fire exposure, ULTRA™ Acoustic Fire Mastic creates a robust fire seal by the formation of a durable intumescent char.

The sealant has undergone tests to BS 476-20:1987 and BS EN
1366-3:2009 with additional guidelines from BS EN 1366-4:2006
for fire protection joints and testing. Sealant also a component
material in testing for BS 476-22:1987 with seal using coated
stonewool batt.
