Roofs

Roof Insulation can be applied in a number of different ways, all of which contribute to the warmth and energy efficiency of a building. Whether you choose flat roof, pitched roof or loft insulation will depend on the design specifications of the building and personal preference. Our insulation is available as boards, rolls and foil, and can have acoustic insulation properties as well as thermal.

Flat Roof Insulation

Flat roof insulation is important for increasing the energy efficiency of a space that would normally lose a significant amount of heat. Normally, these spaces include extensions, garage conversions or utility rooms. The heat loss can affect the energy efficiency of a property, as the drop in temperature can cause draughts. The main form of flat roof insulation is a rigid PIR board.

Pitched Roof Insulation

Pitched Roof Insulation is applied directly to the underside of the roof and is primarily used in situations where loft insulation is not practical. This may be because the loft is used as a living space. Pitched roof insulation is available in a variety of different forms, including boards and foil.

Loft Insulation

Along with cavity wall insulation, loft insulation is one of the most effective ways of insulating a roof. Available in both rolls and boards, loft insulation is an effective way of ensuring a residential building is warm, energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
